Ailio as AI Track Sponsor at Solutions Essentials 2024

Ailio

Last Friday we, the Ailio GmbH team, had the great opportunity to take part in this year's solutions: Conference. This event, known as the “Trade Fair for Makers,” offered a significant platform for subject matter experts and decision-makers in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). Our colleagues Aleksander Fegel and Alexander Grimm were there.

Insights and findings from the solutions: trade fair

This year, the focus of the solutions: trade fair was particularly on the direct exchange between decision-makers in AI projects. One of the central questions was: “What challenges must be overcome in order to implement AI projects?” In our everyday working life we often experience that a euphoric “we’ll start next week” turns into “next quarter”. Dealing with large amounts of data, which initially seems like a gold mine, often ends in “Excel chaos”, distributed across different contacts.

Patience and persistence – the key to success

However, this slow progress is completely normal - it affects almost every company. Structures and corporate cultures cannot be transformed into a modern workplace with a strong AI focus overnight. Although our inner data scientist would like to get started right away, we have to face reality and be patient.

What is important is here and now:

  • Now start with the first steps on available data and implement the first use cases. In the best case, you create added value immediately, in the “worst” case, you lay the foundation for a future value-creating data strategy.
  • Now get people on board and listen to them. Rethinking the way individual employees work can lead to unexpected benefits for the entire company.
  • Now take risks before the current Unique Selling Point (USP) becomes a risk.

About our keynote speech

Our managing director Aleksander Fegel was able to set a decisive tone at the event by making it clear in his keynote speech:

We are startups for AI projects. You invest in the team and go on a journey together. In the end, the goal is to create added value with data. Exactly how this works usually only becomes clear when doing it, as there are too many variables and uncertainties to plan everything in advance.

Aleksander underlined this with an impressive customer project example and finally shared our experiences about what is really important when starting out with AI and data science.

Conclusion: Now is the time to act

In summary: Participation in the solutions: trade fair was a great success for us. We were not only able to make valuable contacts, but also gain deeper insights into the current challenges and solutions in the area of artificial intelligence. It showed us that the key to success lies in the now . So, let’s take the first steps together and further develop our data strategies.
